NAEYA FRANCESCA BINI is a Somatic-Existential Psychotherapist, Healer, and Educator based in Boulder, CO.
She specializes in navigating the edge between non-dual spirituality and the resolution of developmental trauma and in working with existential crises, embodied spirituality, and the exploration of radical freedom from the burdens of the past, social conditioning, and intergenerational patterns of suffering.

Psychotherapy

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of CO, graduated from the Somatic Counseling program at Naropa University, and have been working as a nature-based coach and psychotherapist in private practice for a over decade.
During the years I’ve worked in clinical settings supporting women facing domestic abuse, inmates at the Boulder jail, and in residential settings for folks undergoing addiction treatment.

Today I specialize in working with adults (and their loved ones) facing into big life transitions, dark night of the soul experiences, and relational challenges who are wanting to reconnect with a deeper sense of aliveness, empowerment, and creative self-authorship.

I see clients at my Boulder office and also offer multi-day therapeutic intensives at the Now.Haus retreat center nestled in the Boulder mountains.

My approach blends traditional counseling, Somatic (Body-Based) Psychotherapy, Existential/Gestalt work, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Inner Child Work, Depth Psychology and Art-Therapy, Spiritual/Transpersonal Counseling and ritual, Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based approaches, and the Work of Byron Katie.

Education

I’ve been an educator, teacher, and workshop facilitator for over a decade and I love getting to share my experience and having the opportunity to inspire others in being more free, alive, informed, and creative.

am a professor in the Graduate School of Psychology at Naropa University where I teach Gestalt Therapy, Transpersonal Psychology, Authentic Movement, Supervision, and Advanced Mindfulness practices for counselors-in-training.

I also facilitate Authentic Movement series for groups, grief groups, seasonal workshops centered on embodiment and authentic relating to self/other, and work as a consultant for professional organizations to train their staff in effective evidence-based practices (Motivational Interviewing and interpersonal communication).

Hands-on Healing Work

I am also a practitioner of Myofascia Release (MFR, John Barnes’ School) and utilize hands-on gentle energy/body-work techniques informed by cutting edge neuroscience, Physical Therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as energetic intuition. I am grateful to be able to interweave these wholistic modalities within my psychotherapeutic work.

I am currently studying Somatic Channeling and deepening my on-going exploration of shamanic practices (specifically Andean lineages)
